The famous **Lord Jagannath Temple** is the heart of this yatra. A 12th-century shrine and one of the Char Dhams of India, Darshan here is the spiritual centrepiece of the entire trip — paired with a holy dip-worthy stay near the Mahodadhi sea and a boat ride at Chilika Lake to see dolphins and red crabs.
Depart Bangalore by flight. Check in, then visit Belur Math, Dakshineswar Kali Temple and local attractions. Afternoon at Science City or local shopping. Overnight in Kolkata.
Morning visit to Mother House, Kalighat Kali Temple, Victoria Memorial, Dalhousie Square, Howrah Bridge, Writers’ Building and Eden Gardens. Evening train from Howrah/Shalimar station to Puri.
